ECU problem

I switch out ECU today and it's giving me a check engine light?

Stock ECU no light...
Chipped ECU throw the light.

Haven't check the code yet.
Is it the Chipped ECU bad?
Checking for the code later

What kind of ECU? Is it OBD1? 2? There are many reasons, need some more info are you sure its the right ecu?

Is it an Ebay chip or did someone actually take apart the ecu and chip it for you? Do you know what program is on it?

I brought the ecu already chipped.
The person that I brought it from said it's professional done.
I'll open the ECU when I get home in 3 hrs.

Yea if is an OBD0 ecu there is something for sure thats messed up. Obd0 rarely trips a CEl unless something is way wrong, usually something miss wired is a swap.
