do any of u have ebay cai's but just swaped out the filter for a k&n filter or a aem filter, just wondering how well they work cuz piping is pretty much the same if i am not mistaken with aem and injen ur paying for the filter and name

 

Yeah im getting ready to order mien tonight but alot of people on ehre suggest that..who wants to pay 200$ for some piping an ebay oen can be ahd for 30$$...

I got a ebay cold air for 40 bucks worked pretty damn well, piping is piping no point in spending more that you have to.

 

you can also get a two piece one so you can switch it from cold air to short ram when it rains.

 

the main reason why people buy brand name intakes for $200 is because people like myself, and many others who live in california have to worry about passing emissions and make sure its carb exepmt so we dont get hassled by the cops

yep cali has very strict smog laws. Thats the only reason i bought a AEM one, i basically paid for the sticker that said "C.A.R.B exempt"

 

ya thats the only real reason buy the big name brands... cause they are usually carb excempt... and here in california in perticular it helps you a lot..
