They look like they might need some TLC. Energy suspension motor mount inserts for you my friend.

the mount is what you see in the pic, the inserts go inside where there are gaps in the mounts and make it one solid mount....

they are refering to the aftermarket polyurethane insert made by Energy Suspension.

Mine are also shot to hell.

What are the partnumbers for the ES inserts. I'm gonna buy me some.

Dont replace the mounts, just get the inserts...Thats all you need to do, it will help take away wheel spin and wheel hop. I would recommend it to everyone with worn out mounts. No need to replace the whole mounts just get the inserts and thats all....

Yeah all you have to do is unbolt your mount from the frame and the tranny or the a/c whichever one your doing and zip tie the inserts in...Very easy all the directions are in the energy mount package....

very easy like i said, they slide into place fitting the form of the mount and they give you zip ties to tie both sides of the inserts together making one solid mount....very very very very easy...

Here's a link to some Energy Suspension motor mount inserts at optauto.com. They're only $30 plus shipping. The 2 front mounts are the easy part. The rear mount is a biatch!

Here is a site with specific install instructions!

Yea the two side mounts aren't bad at all. The rear mount is a pain luckily I did it when the motor was out of the car.

No one has said this yet, but be ready for more vibration inside the car. My car shakes like crazy at high idle but is fine at low idle (600 rpm). Every slightly loose part in the dash rattles and its really annoying. The difference is that I also have the poly engine mounts along with the torque mounts that are shown so all 5 of my mounts are stiffer.

you DONT need to replace this. This isnt a "motor mount" persay, but rather consider this a viberation isolater. Also, this isn't broken, alittle cracked sure, but not broken and isnt affecting anything. If yo uput poly mounts in there, the only difference you get a a steering wheel that is going to viberate more. that mount on mine is completely broken off, has been for the last 6 months. all four of the rubber connections are broken off and it just moves around in the center alittle. The only difference i get is alittle more viberation,....oh well, 160K on the clock, if thats the only problem, i'll deal.

If you still want inserts go ahead, relacement from acura is like 30 bucks i think.

Good luck.

Replacing the two front torque mounts (like you have pictured) will definitely help in reducing wheel hop, and cause less movement of your motor in the bay. You can also use the inserts to effectively make a torn or broken mount back into a solid mount.

Install is easy. I dont have the rear mount in (its a pain), and with just the 2 front mounts, the only noticeable vibration is the steering wheel *a bit* at idle. Not a problem, not annoying, not an issue. From what Ive heard the rear mount makes for the dash vibration.

my front tranny mount broke off the case (took a fist sized chunk of tranny with it)...will new rubber fittings for the broken off mount suffice?...not sure if it's bent or not, but it got freakin' hammered!!...

I personally hate the inserts. Pretty shitty engineering if you ask me....Zip ties to hold them in? My left side inserts came out in less than a week. They get a from me.

I believe the upper driver side one (by the timing belt) would require being pressed in.

I'm ready to buy but they're out of stock, where else can I find them?

btw, I looked at the install instruction briefly, wouldn't something fell off/over if I removed the mount in the first place?

Go to any Nopi/performance type store they should have them in. I don't fully understand your second question...

Try summitracing.com. As for you second question. Do you mean will the engine fall down while installing them? No. Not if you do them one at a time.
