I bought a new actuator and I can't get it to install right. It locks the doors fine, but it won't unlock them. All the other doors will unlock, but I can't get the driver side to unlock. I think it has something to do with my installation and maybe there's something I'm missing. If you have done this before or know what I'm doing wrong could someone please help me out.
Thanks
Thanks
I can probably help i've taken my door apart a couple times, what exactly is the "actuator". There should be two rods that connect to the actual locking mechanism.

This picture is from my Accord actuator, but similar concept. Yes, that part has to slip over a little notch. I hook that part first, and pull gently up and down to know it is hooked, then I attached the philips screws from the actuator motor to the actuator/latch unit.

yes it locks and unlocks manually fine. I just think there needs to be something to connect to this part so it will go back to the unlock position. Am i wrong? did i just install it wrong? When I put it in, it will lock the doors but it wont flip back to unlock. The actuator works perfectly it has to do with my installation and I think Im missing a link.
Just reinstall it again. If you are just replacing the motor, some of the parts are hidden from view inside the narrow door. Jiggle the motor around a little in that area, till it hooks on; then attach the philips screws.
