pulleys dont produce hp or tq they release it by the bigger diameter and lighter weight. i have dyno proof that it released 5-6 hp for me at the wheels. the best $150 i spent on my car i have the aem tru power pulleys.
just my 2 cents. but for the people who dont think they work i say "ok"

You have a before and after dyno of the pullies only? Please post those graphs.

If they make any power its not something you can feel. Its a good mod for people who are just starting to work on their car and want to install them themselves.

Because he is really the jackass who doesn't know anything... i have the pullies on my B18B and i love them. The p/s and alt pulley don't provide any gains but the crank pulley is the one to get... Also the gain is felt by the SMALLER diameter and lightened weight. take advice from someone who has the pullies not by some idiot who just reads about it

adjustable cam gears, yes. timing can be set.

If your saying that cam gears ALONE provide more of a gain then thats definetly the stupidest thing i have ever heard.

Tuned cam gears will make more power than pulleys. Undoubtedly.

i believe its just like the theory of a flywheel more mass=inertia less weight=better accleration just my opinon

aftermarket crank pulley's are bad. stock harmonic balancers are good!

I think its for people who need to absolutly squeeze every bit of hp out of an engine, sort of like final upgrades.

CTR crank pulley plus AEM alternator pulley . when something goes wrong on my engine from not having the harmonis balancer i will then be pissed, but untill then i dont give a f--k

dont hate because you cant afford that "final" upgrade. all motor you need every hp you can get, and why not, they are cheap upgrades...$$$

pulleys do help a lot whether you guys want to admit it or not, i ran the unorthadox set on my civic for a year and a half on a built motor and not one problem occured , and a friend of mine has been running them for longer than that on his civic, somehting to keep in mine 1lb= 100lb rotating mass hmmm i wonder why lighter pulleys , flywheels , and road wheels make a difference just something for you people that think they don't make a difference to ponder on

Im guessing you are trying to say that 1lb of rotating mass =s 100lbs of car? Either way, this is wrong. It actually depends on alot of physics that you probably have no idea about, but lets give it a shot. Shaving 5lbs off your crank pulley is going to have less of an effect then shaving 5lbs off your flywheel...why you ask? Because of angular momentum, yes the principle that says the further the weight is away from the center point of the rotating mass. Now lets make this even easier for the people who are still lost. Think about having a rope with a weight on the end, now start swinging it around and around. Is it easier to swing if the weight is 2ft out on the rope or if its 10ft out on the rope? Ok glad that we all agree that its hardier to swing the weight if we're swinging it around a 10 radius then a 2ft....same principle applies to flywheels, crank pulleys etc. Thus, the further the weight is out on the flywheel the more power it will absorb.

Now, for the "Pulleys dont make a difference" group. Not only are you losing weight, but you are also underdriving things, now the alternator is rather easy to turn, so I cant really say that you will gain much power there(even if it is spinning 5000/minute), but your ps and ac can indeed make a difference. There have been several dyno graphs proving that the underdrive pulleys do make power and until you have one of your own saying it does, shut up. Yes cam gears may make more power as pulleys...but ONLY IF YOU HAVE THEM TUNED, WHICH COST MORE MONEY.
