Default dissapointing dyno, need replys!!

hello, everyone today i had my car dynoed at my local performance shop, my integra has the b18c1 block with ctr pistons and b16 head dual valve springs, rebuilt this last summer, when i took it to the dyno i wanted them to do two pulls one with all motor and one using my venom nitrous kit, the all motor pull only made 160 hp at 9k rpm theres got to be something majorly wrong right?? i was expecting at least 190, my second pull with the nitrous at 45% made 210 hp at 5,500 rpm and then made a loud poppin noise from exhasut, i asked them if everything was normal they said yes and one guy told me i could make serious power from this application if i got hondatas300 and a wideband o2 sensor i know a little about hondata but i would really appreciate everyones reply to this i was baffled at the rsult my car feels like it has great power but guess not i was unable to print dyno becaus printer was broke sorry please any feedback helps!

Wow for a lot of reasons. There are several important questions you need to answer:

1) what camshafts
2) what breather mods
3) what chip
4) what type of dyno
5) what fuel
6) why 9k

I'll be honest, 160 sounds high on stock cams if that's what you have. And your tuners are right, you definitely need a wideband sensor and possibly a better tuning system, depending on what you are running.

What exactly are you wanting to know? Yeah your numbers seem a little low, answer the questions these people asked and we can go from there.

What kind of dyno btw

give us MORE INFO.. lol... i mean, it really sounds like a tuning issue, if you havent tuned at all or have a weak tune..

and yeah.. stock cams at 160 whp? ummm... then maybe you have a KILLER tune.. haha

yes the cams are stock b16 cam, im running a crappy reflach chip tune bacause the guy who rebuil the engine said to chip it for 9k, the dyno was a dynojet i think, i use 93 octane because of the compression, i was also thinking maybe because im at a higher altitude the hp numbers might look a little lower since theres not as much oxygen up here compared to sea level? i have a ctr intake cam i wanted to put in but the belt tenioner bolt is stripped

that is true.. higher altitudes will drop HP, but your tune really isnt that bad, considering you are running stock cams...

Screw OEM cams.. find yourself some skunk2 or crowers.. mmmm.. more power..

I'm saying that dyno is high for those cams. Your operator will have applied an alititude correction so that isn't a factor. There's no reason to run to 9k on those cams.

I'm a little puzzled that you couldn't get a print of the dyno graph. It would be good to see an A/F readout and the torque curve.

no.. there is nothing wrong with it.. its just not optimal for performance, but its still usable...

it doesnt matter, because im sure you will be replacing the cams later, anyway.. so what if you got stock cams and ctr pistons? lol.. that just means when you swap to some nice big street/strip cams, you feel more of a difference

It’s funny how a shop spends 10's of thousands on a dyno and can't get a $100 printer. Get the actual dyno files from the shop. Email or memory stick. You then view and print from WinPEP7 program.
As for the Hondata system, very good. I’m running the S300 in both cars 1999 GSR with a P72 ECU and a 1993 Del Sol with a P28 ECU. Never had a single issue of any kind. The GSR is tuned for power/reliability and we did a fuel economy tune on the Del Sol.

If money is a concern you could get a Moates Demon and run Crome for a little less cash.
