my integra got a flat on the front left tire about a month ago. i had to drive it about 2 miles home which wasnt a good idea but it was as it was going flat. i put my spare on for the time being and when i drove it i noticed it pulled to the left a little and got worse slowly. i figured i had messed up the alignment driving it but it wasnt terrible so i decided to wait until i got the new tire on and everything. i was driving on the interstate and it started pulling very hard, if i let go of the wheel i wouldve basically ran off the road immediately thats how bad it was. it started vibrating a little bit so i pulled off and checked my tires and lug nuts and they were fine. i only had a few miles to go so i got back on. all of a sudden i heard a clicking from the front left and then it sounded like metal just falling off. i pulled over to see my tire had been shredded from it but my hub and everything is still aligned correctly so i know my cv joint didnt break or anything. did this happen due to the pressure from my car being so unaligned?
please give me any tips u can
thanks

is youre wheel bearings ok.
i dont really think alignment would cause that. usually when and vehicle pulls to one side there is a problem even if you align youre car it will most likely still pull to the left.
did you have youre spare(donut) on that shreded? the spare can only go so far and has a rating of 50mph..

All that will happen front a drastic misalignment is the pressure will increase maybe 50-75 degrees. You Tire that got the flat dose it show any symptoms of edge wear or any abnormal wear. Pictures from top and side looking at tread front and rear looking at tread would help me out.
It's hard to tell from your description. However, here are a few points of information.
Bad alignment can cause the car to pull to one side. However, it's usually just a slight pulling. If your car suddenly starts pulling very hard to one side, that sounds to me like a major suspension failure, like a component that is suddenly bent or comes loose. That doesn't sound like it's just an alignment problem.
Using the spare won't cause the alignment to go out.
When a tire gets shredded, there is something really serious going on. If there was some kind of major suspension failure (as noted above), it can result in a metal suspension part that is loose and digging into the tire. That would be my bet. There are other possible reasons for a tire to get shredded - insufficient air pressure leads the list, along with road debris - but they wouldn't be preceded by a drastic pulling to one side.
You really need to get your car up on a lift and have it closely inspected by someone who is very knowledgeable about suspensions.
