He`s smoking crack.
They must have plenty of work. Dent guys do that when the money is flowing, inflate the price cause they don`t care whether they fix it or not.
How big is the dent? Are we talking a door ding or a "foot print"?
Maybe up to a $100 at the very most. Depends on how long it takes to fix also.
That other guy has good advice also but - call some highline PRIVATE dealers and ask who they use AND who the best is. Chain dealers don`t use the best, they use the cheapest.
BTW, I know, I was in the dent business for 8 years until I realized everybody in the business was just out to screw everyone else over for a buck.

May be it's just Friday and the dude doesn't feel like working ?
If they are serious about their estimate, they should ask to see the dent in person.
Sometimes the dent is on crease line or the place their tools won't reach then they can't do it.
I paid $60 or $80 per panel but then this was years ago.

When I removed my fenders to install my sidemarkers, I also pushed out a dent I had in my left fender. Somebody hit my dad's brand new TRD Tacoma a few months ago, only shredded the fiberglass fender flare and put a slight dent in the side of the truck bed. I got up in there and popped almost all of it out w/ my hand. Now w/ the flare on you can barely tell anything ever happend. You might want to try popping it out yourself.
I know this my sound rather far-fetched but i heard back in the day dry ice car possibly fix some minor door dings / hail damage. ...though I have never tried it. At any rate, when I bought my car, the saleman said I could get some of the door dings fixed for free at the dealer (i got the paper work). Well, they use some guy who's a floater and I have called a billion times to get my car in and for some reason the dent guy is never around so says the saleman. I am not going to give up on a freebie but in your case I would search around. You will adventually find someone who does quality work at a reasonable price.
Screw Dent Wizard. Call Dent Pro!! They took out 3 dents on my car. Looks BRAND new. In matter of minutes, they'll pop that sucker right out without any paint disfunction. Cheaper also...

Oh by the way the fender looks like it was kicked it but doesnt look all that bad it basically starts from the front most part of the fender to where the fender starts to curve over the wheel approx 3 inches give or take
if you know anyone who works at a dealer ask them when dent wiz is there and offer the dent wiz guy some money on the side, i work at honda and one of the guys who comes here (dent wiz) does my cars i throw him 20-40 bucks depending on the car and he goes over the whole car! although i swear iv'e seen him going through the lot w/ that rubber hammer
oh well he's got to eat right!?!

I just took off my rear interior panels and rear seatbelt to get to this one dent by my gascap somebody left me while I was at work. Anyways.. a big 2fist sized dent is now hardly visible.
