so do you think you can hit 550whp NA with a DOHC just cause it has an extra cam? read up some more. you'll learn that race motors are completely different from street motors. from heads, to blocks, to cranks, to fuel, to hell...everything

450hp F22A N/A = race motor = much tighter clearances and tolerances than normal engines, requiring tear down, checks and rebuilds after every few track runs.
Sure it's possible. Is it streetable? Not a chance.

do you know how hard 250whp is to reach? sure you may have read about it in magazines or here on HT, but its not as easy as you think. try making your prelude hit 250whp; its a 2.0, dohc. should be nice and easy for you
well,..... i think that someone could make 250hp on a street car with alot of money, good tuning... k-swap would only be a lil bit more money... i say if i had the bread to go k go k... you wouldnt have to do much to the motor after that to be happy for a while...(it wouldnt break from the stress of a DD...)
umm its easy to make 250whp out of an h22.
heres one and its for sale

well im bout to buy another prelude that has a stroker b20a in it and it keeps twisting clutches out in it and it hasnt even been tuned so im gonna get it tuned and dynoed and ill show you the results and he said it will burn through third and thats when it spun the clutch in it but sounds pretty good for a 3rd gen prelude that weighs 2447
wow this thread is filled with alot of hostility lol. dude a 250 whp ls for the street would just be ridiculous. sorry to say, yes i definately think it can be done but come on now, who has really seen this before? it's just not cost effective when it comes to making those power figures. especially for street driving, which is probably why so many people say it cant be done or you haven't seen it before.
