Default D3 or D4?

I was told to drive my integra in the city in D3 rather than D4...is this correct????!!!!!!!!

Drive 3 shifts from 1st to 2nd, then to 3rd, but won't go into 4th. D4 is the same with the exception that it shifts into 4th gear. It doesn't make even the slightest difference performance wise. The reason you even have an auto, is to shift for you, cause most people are lazy, or unskilled, and don't wanna shift their own gears. I'd convert to 5spd, and you'll be faster, and have more fun. And you can select whatever gear you want, so you can be like most ricers and ride down the interstate in 3rd gear and 6000rpm. (j/k, lol) slushbox=

D4 will work just fine. But to get really fast starts off the line, just put your car in neutral rev it up to the red lines and just pop it into D4. That should get you moving.

Also D3 won't lock up your torque converter. If you want to go slow and don't want it to go between 3 and 4 all the time, D3 is the way to go.
