CYP code after going obd1, need help!
Hello all.
I have a 1991 Acura Integra. Car has a b18a1 with b16 pistons. I bought an ecu jumper harness, obd1 distributor and I chipped my p06 ecu. Anyway, when I converted the car to obd1 the car would throw the CYP code after the engine cycles a few times, runs like crap! I changed the sensor and it still throws the code. I tried the ECU on another car and no codes, I even tried another ECU on my car and it ran okay with no codes. I am looking to get another distributor and seeing what happens. I was told a problem in the wiring harness? Jumper harness perhaps?
Any ideas? If any one needs more info, let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Actually wired it myself. Which was a bit misleading because I searched all over the web and they would give me different colors matching to different wires. Only one wire changes colors? All others are the same? At least on OEM distributors.
Okay so after waiting a few days to get my jumper harness, I decided to go obd1 again.
This thing still throws that damn code 9. Idles like complete crap. The wiring is good, this is my second distributor. I did hear that if the cyp sensor is "off spec" it'll throw the code. Since you can unscrew it and adjust it. My ECU isn't bad, I tested it on a friends car and it ran perfectly fine.
Any ideas?! I have read in my manual in my continuity and whatnot but I don't even know how to do that.

Are you using a genuine Honda Distributor or one from your local auto parts store or online source ??? I have seen many non-OE distributors have wiring polarity issues at the CYP sensor pickup. If this is it, simply unpin the two wires at the distributor plug, reverse their original positions and re-insert them. Crank the car and see if the code goes away.
