CV Joint Question?????????????
I just noticed when giving my car an oil change that my drivers side cv joint has busted. not the boot closest to the rim,but the other joint in the middle. I'm not sure what it's called exactly, but I need a new set. I just wanted to know if I would be able to use LS CV Joints. They don't have any g-r CV's but they do have LS. So instead of ordering them I could maybe just get these ones.

It's a c.v. boot. Check and see if you have any grease in them. If the boot has torn recently, the grease will look fresh. If not, the boot has been broken for a while, then the bearings could be shot. If that is the case you should just replace the axle. And yes the LS c.v. boot can work. But make sure you check the bearings in the boot.
