Icon2 Custom Power Steering Setup

My question is does anyone have pictures or knows where i can find some of a custom power steering setup? Now if your wondering what i mean by a custom PS setup I mean by when you remove your PS from your car, most people just loop a hose in the PS rack, but i have seen some people setup the PS reservour and run a line to the rack, which allows air to get out of the rack and makes your PS rack alot easier to handle. If anyone can help would be appricaiated. thanks

Are you trying to keep power steering or not?

I looped the hoses but i know what you mean, I looked for info for 3 hours some time ago. I did not find good clear info on how to run the lines. I hope some people pitch in and give some help. Drawings and pics would be more help also.

Ok, here's a quick attempt at a text only description of what I think the OP wants.

Normally, people loop the lines. Take the loop, cut it in half, and add a T fitting. Connect other side of T to reservoir. Add fluid. Squeeze lines and "burp" any air into reservoir.

There, fluid to keep things lubricated, and an expansion chamber to push fluid to (the reservoir).

Now, I have never seen anyone do this. I've only seen looped lines, but that is how I would attempt to do it if I were to remove the pump.

Not sure on the amount, I just know that the Integra PS rack is less turns lock to lock than the manual Civic rack.

Not just less turns on the Integra rack, but it has an overall better turning radius.

If you searched, you would have found this;
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/faq-power-steering-loop-96-00-civic-2538767/

The EG/DC rack is the same... EG/DC rack is pictured in that thread.

And if you would have searched, read the thread, or even clicked on the thread I put up there, you would know.

Put a T fitting in the loop, run a small piece of hose from it, connect a clutch resivoir so you can keep fluid in the rack and bleed air out as it works.
