Default couple tips on how to help an integra from robbery

I just went to my local police station early today just to see how many car robbery's there were in my city. I asked him about integra's. He told me that two gsrs were stolen and one type r was stolen in the past 8 months. While I was driving home in my gsr I thought okay, there were none of the (ls) versions stolen so im like if everyone that had a gsr tooke the vtec badge off then people would think it was an ls. And if everyone that had a type r took the sticker off the back that said type r and the side stickers off they would think it was an ls also but besides the rear spolier. I think its a pretty good Idea. Then if u have a type r make something that u can take the rear spoiler off and reattach it everytime u want. Also if u have no access to a garage like me, i would say get a car cover. Also now a days everyone is afriad there integra might get flat beded. Well I thought that over a second time, get some small spikes that you can remove from the cracks of the cement. Put a set of spikes in the cracks of the cement everytime your home and have your car parked. The reason for this is that if the tow truck pulls up in your driveway they are automaticly going to get a flat tire. If they dont get a flat tire you car is going to get two flat tires when they try to move it. Also always park your car where the front end is close to the house. So if they ever want to flat bed it your rear wheels are going to get poped. It is hard to move a car that has the alarm going off because they cant pop the hood and try to move it on a flat bed.

a lot people debadge there rides but a lot of tegs still get stolen. I recommend the hood pop cable relocation. and a fuel pump cut off switch and hide the switch somewhere where only you know about it. AND DONT TELL ANYONE!!!

how can removing the badge not make your car get stolen, i mean, it's not like thieves are dumb, they can find out one way or another......i would say just get the pedal club....noonw can get your ****...flatbeds are just too uncommon, so i kinda dont worry about that

check out that thread... lots of different tips on how to "slow down a theif"

also, it doesn't matter what badges are on your car. if you car looks worthy enough to be stolen, an attempt will be made. i could have a hyundai badge with a V6 badge right below and it'll most likely be a target still. a theif will know if they want to steal it or not. just protect your car with the most layers of security as possible. make sure you slow down the theives from getting away unnoticed.

regardless if they (theives) look at these forums or not, i think it's better to help educate as many people as much as possible about securing their vehicle in as many ways as possible. a good theif knows all the tricks in the book. and if they're really desperate, they'll flatbed your car. even if a theif knew all the hiding spots for GPS tracking systems, fuel cutoffs, secondary alarms, it would still take a pretty good amount of time to find it all. "if it takes a lot of brain to install, then it takes a lot of brain to take apart" meaning it'll take time. and the more time it takes a theif to get away with your car, then the greater chance he'll give up and go find another target with less security.
