Default Is this coolant outlet needed

Please excuse my lack of knowledge I just got into Hondas and trying to get a B18c1 running my 1992 Civic hatchback. I borrowed this picture from another thread. My shop manual says it is suppose to connect to a meta breath pipe. I have a Skunk2 intake manifold and do not have said breather pipe and since my car is a trailered race car do not plan on adding extra things that aren't need. Can this just be capped off? Thank you in advanced....

Yes it can be plugged if you aren't using the coolant warming circuit for the throttle body and IACV.
