yeah, the only reason i ask is that sometimes the ITR lip looks more thicker and more aggresive than some, so its making me think if all are actually the same.

They look IDENTICAL. I have the comptech itr front lip and i just sold my oem 97 itr front lip. The only differences are that the oem lip has tabs and hardware on the bottom where it can bolt up to the stock bumper. The oem lip also felt thin and really easy to crack. The comptech lip is thick-very flexible polyurethane, and is only held on to the bumper with double sided adhesive tape and a couple of screws on the ends.

Here's the comptech lip on my car....has been on my car for the past 6 years. As you can see, the double sided adhesive tape is starting to become unsticky:

The OEM 97 ITR lip:

Do I only need item #4 (bracket Front Air Spoiler) and #38 (Nut, Air Spoiler Clip) from Acura's bumper parts list, to install an OEM ITR lip on a 00 FBP GS-R?

Also 00 ITR lips are described as "Starlight Black Pearl" while 01 ITR lips are "Nighthawk Black Pearl". Which one is closest to FBP?

Thanks.

The comptech lip is very strong and durable, although I don't like the adhesive.

It is very similar to the OEM lip though.

my friends was the same. sometimes it kind of shrinks, you gotta either leave it out in the sun for a while or blow dry it and it'll expand. same thing with abs lips. i've had to blow dry some lips for 30minutes so that it'll fit on a bumper correctly.

jdmshit's looks pretty decent. it's made out of polyurethane so it should be pretty good. i would advise calling into them for quick contact. looks like it's 145USD

From what I've seen and have been told, the jdmshit itr lip is identical to the comptech, but half the cost.
