Default Comptech Intake Kit for Comptech Ice Box

Ok I've been trying to find a little more information on the comptech intakes. Most of what you search for on here is just opinions on why this is better than that. Anyway as i was perusing the comptech site and looking at the Ice Box description, it mentions that you must use the Comptech Intake Kit or Comptech Air Filter Upgrade with the Ice Box. Well i'm a little confused, the Intake "kit" listed is basically an intake with all the pieces that would come with one, and i don't even see an Air Filter Upgrade.

So if you get the Ice Box is that all you need or do you really need extra stuff?

ok so i guess my misunderstanding is, the icebox is just the box that goes on the intake arm?

its the box, and it has the tube and duct that goes down in front of the fender lining.

While we're on this subject, I would recommend the Comptech Ice Box Intake to anyone looking for a good intake that is quiet and produces m4d pow3r y0.

Thank you.

To add to this post...

Does anyone know if using the comptech intake arm will provide any gains over the stock intake arm? I got the arm and the box as a set so I never tried with the stock intake arm. Anybody know???

I would suppose so, the ripples in the stock arm would cause some moderate air fluctuations.

for the Comptech setup

Ok, i've gotten my main questions out of the way. Now the biggie since i've set my mind, where the heck do i get one at a good price. $300 off comptech's site seems a little much!

When I got mine about a year and a half ago, the cheapest place that I found it was from Modacar.com.
