I bought a Comptech stainless steel catback exhaust system from Diabloautosports.com in July of 2002. A few months ago I began having a buzzing at and above 4000 rpm under load or acceleration. Ironically, this "defect" made my exhaust sound just like N1 exhausts sound all the time. 
Shows what I think of those exhausts. 
In any case, I'd heard that Comptech had a problem with their B-pipe resonators so I gave them a call. No interrogation or problems, they just told me they'd send out a new B-pipe and I should send the old one to them. The only downside was that I would have to cover shipping charges both ways. That sucked but was fair.
The best part of the deal is that about three weeks after I shipped my B-pipe back I got a letter from Comptech in the mail. They credited my credit card $35, the cost of shipping the old B-pipe back to them. I never even asked for this gesture of good will - awesome!
I recommend Comptech products to all. I have their air filter, Icebox, 4-2-1 Header, Exhaust, and Quiet Tip Silencer Insert. All excellent. If you're looking for some Comptech stuff hit up Tweakmeister here on HT, he's my buddy, let him know I gave you his name. This is NOT even a sales post, but just a happy customer post.

not to be a smart-*** or to offend you, but how is that fair,i am sorry in my opinion, I felt that Comptech shoulda paid for the Shipping ya know? They made a slightly defected product and they should cover it, at least pay for the S&H from their warehouse to you. I dunno maybe it is fair, considering otehr Manufactures warranty isn't as "nice" as comptech's. g'luck w/the exhaust tho.

LoL Comptech is already kinda ballerific. They make some quality stuff though. I REALLY REALLY miss my Comptech Headers. I couldn't pull them off my deceased '96 GS-R.

ahh...sorry, blind me, so that's coo tho...good stuff, comptech is good stuff i heard a lot of power gain from them. You get what you pay for i guess...
