there is a gsr for sale, the guy did a compression test and says he got close to 175 on all cly. Its a 94 GSR.

not bad.. but could be better. my 94 jdm gsr motor checked out at 222 across...

JDM engines get some higher numbers is seems, due to increased compression.

How many miles are on this engine? 174 doesn't seem too bad, but, if the engine is showing any signs of possible problems, you could be looking at a rebuild. None-the-less, if the price is right, it could be a sweet deal!

 

Its a 99 LS with 94 GSR.
with 70K on the motor and 80K on the chases.

Salvage title, car has been wrecked before.

Asking 6,200.

 

yeah.. those #s are good for 70k on the motor.. even though my motor is a 94 its only got ~40k so far. just check for leaks and do the usually inspection before you buy the car..
