Default Compression Test Done..

The results that i acquired were after 7cranks...

Cylinders Readings
#1 - 250
#2 - 237
#3 - 250
#4 - 248

Is this good for a gsr?

The motor is a 94 with 113k miles

Any feedback is welcomed...

seems normal to me. to be accurate you would have to reference those numbers to an oem manual. from there they might give you a spec like 10-15% from 250 psi or something like that.

reason for compression test?

yeah, its not bad.

as a general rule of thumb, anything greater than a 20 psi difference can mean something is wrong.
yours look spretty good

why i ask why you're doing a compression test if you're having any engine problems. SOMETIMES a compression test is not the most accurate way of diagnosing engine problems.

yeah, but if you're not having any drivability problems why bother? so how if one of the cylinders falls slightly below spec, but still runs ok? does that justify a rebuild? or a teardown for inspection?

The reason of doing a compression test was just to see how healthy my engine was...and Also because i was planning on slapping a t3/t4 turbo on the gsr, just to get those extra ponies
