No. This topic has been covered numerous times. All you really pay for when buying an AEM is the CARB exemption. Feel free to use the search function to learn more.

It doesnt always take 4 thousand posts to realize the differences in intakes. How could they possibly be that different with the exception of the filter.

Get an ebay 30 dollar intake and throw a K&N on it, and you're good to go.

I have an Injen SRI, i paid the money for it because of the filter, and the fact that i dont have to worry about the brackets not lining up. Nobody needs that ****.

But yeah, put your money into more important power adders than an intake. In the whole engine package in perspective, the intake is only a miniscule part of the whole package.

There's a reason the Realtime ITR's use a stock intake. Im pretty sure you can modify the intake box in that circuit. I may be wrong.

there was someone on here, that got the metal intake pipe, and put it inside his oem pipe, then cut a hole so it could go through, and stuck a k/n filter inside, and closed the lid... looked stock, but he got the performance out of it.. pretty slick if u ask me

im tired of the **** remarks about searching too. if you have a problem posting...then dont. dont be an ******* about it. and yes it does seem to always be the the people with thousands of posts and loads of free time. sometimes when you search it dosn't bring up what you really want to know.

i have an ebay cai and it works just as fine.

i agree.

its useless to ask the same question, but i see it happen all the time. sometimes, the search function is not as helpful as asking your question and easily getting the answer to it.

the whole do a search thing is gettin out of hand. newbie or not... they are still learnin. lets be a little cool about it and answer their question followed by "try searching".

so yeah... do the damn thing and search first! haha
