Default Code 54 help

I have a 96 ek with a jdm b18b swap running a 96 integra ecu.The Ckf sensor has been bypassed using the Katman wiring trick for 150k miles and for 3 years...no cel ever for 3 years. I drive 80k a year for work. Also this same 96 EK wiring harness with the ckf bypass trick has been used on three other jdm motors before this. So I know it's definitely not a wiring issue. Within the last 10 years of using this wiring harness and the wiring using the ckf bypass trick, no code 54 has ever popped up until now. What else could trigger the code 54? Is maybe my engine top end getting loose since it pulls the top dead center signal out of the distributor? I took apart the wiring harness again and made sure everything is still Splice together correctly and it is? I did not use the clamps for the wiring trick, I spliced the two wires completely together with solder. With the ckf bypass trick I see there is two wires you can cut or unpin but I never needed to do that. The trick of just splicing the four wires together always worked just fine for me and no cel codes for 10 years. I did go ahead and depin those two wires today and clear the codes but it still came back. Any ideas on what would be triggering the code 54? I do not think it is the wiring issue ...maybe something with the top end of my engine or the distributor? Or the bottom end of my engine. The engine is getting very old and it has a lot of miles on it 200k+. It is starting to run a little loose and this is the only code I have got. Funny thing is the car runs fine though it pulls hard still with the code on. The engine is just high mileage and I can tell it's kind of loose if you know what I mean but it runs great and can still pull pretty good and run all the way up the full range of the RPMs ..without it bogging down or anything. Check out the video attachment and you can hear how good it runs still. In the video the check engine light appears to be off because I have pulled the bulb out of the back of the cluster LOL
