Code 22
Hey guys, my JDM B18C is throwing code 22. I know it's the VTEC Oil pressure sensor, but I have some questions.
Do OBD1 JDM Motors come with this sensor? Because mine has it, but I've heard they don't
I've read that it could be caused by oil levels. I have 4 full quarts in there, but there is no oil registering on the dipstick because the front of the car is on jack stands. Could this be making the sensor think there is no oil?
any other thoughts or advice on this code?
thanks

Sorry for the delay in response, I've been searching and looking and trying all sorts of stuff. I fixed the code and here is what I did.
I added .5 quarts of oil to bring me to right at 4 quarts (found out through searching that the capacity is 4.2 quarts)
I cleaned the VTEC solenoid screen (was clean, but did it anyway)
And I regrounded the wire coming from the VTEC Oil pressure sensor. I had it going to the transmission ground that goes to the body, so I took it all off and scuffed it all up really good with my dremel. Put it all back together, reset the ECU and no code! I started it up and it seems to be running fine, minus an exhaust leek.
Thanks for looking, hopefully this will help someone else in the future
