clutch question

Default clutch question

is the any way to adjust when the clutch "hooks" i just got a new slave cylinder and bleed the lines and my clutch is amost all the way up before it hooks. im used to before when it hooked near the middle.

By "hooks" do you mean when it grabs? To me it sounds like you still have some bleeding to do... but I may be incorrect.

ya i mean grabs, there is no more bleeding the clutch is very stiff do all integras grab late

I would say they grab pretty late... I never really noticed, I guess I'm just used to it.

anybody know if a better clutch will make it grab quicker, i just started driving stick 3 months ago and getting pretty good now its like im learning to drive stick all over, the car isnt even as fun driving as it used to be

Usually a better clutch will make it more difficult for you. Depending on how extreme the new clutch would be. You just need to get used to it with the new slave cylinder. It will be tighter, and your's was probably like slop before you started driving it, so that's all you know.

ya true it was it was so nice effortless, easy to grab no i have this huge gap between the grab point and the floor.

*** it ill just get used to it, taking off in first gear is a bitch but rest is smooth

ya man maybe a little closer it was so sick and i noticed when my slave was acting up it grabed really close, big difrence now
