Clutch problem!?!?!?!
ok so the other day before going to work my clutch felt real squishy. being that this is my 3rd Integra, i've seen this problem before. i was able to drive to and from work fine with not much problem. i pretty much had to keep my foot on the clutch and keep pressure on it then pump the clutch before shifting. when i finally got home i decided to bleed the system. i did all the steps necessary (loosened the bleeder valve, pumped the clutch, etc) i noticed a lot of bubbles coming out, but didn't see the fluid level at the reservoir go down at all. i kept pumping and pumping with no luck. once all said and done i had no more oil coming out of the bleeder valve and i have no pressure at the clutch where as i did before. still i saw very little (make that almost no) change at the reservoir. what's the deal? did i bleed out all the line or something? is there a clog in the system possibly that will not allow the oil to get by? how do i fix this myself?!?!?!?!

check the oil line that goes from the reservoir that holds the clutch fluid and check your clutch master cylinder for any other problems.I doubt it's leaking because your reservoir is still full.Make sure you are bleeding your clutch properly.Usually it's a two person job.Make sure you have one person pumping the clutch while you work the bleeder valve.Loosen it and tighten it just enough so no pressure and clutch fluid escapes.Have the person pump the clutch pedal about ten times and tell him/her to hold it down on the tenth time.Open the bleeder valve to drain air bubbles and clutch fluid and re-tighten the bleeder valve.Repeat the process until there is no more air bubbles. If the valve bleeder is open and you pump the clutch pedal, there will be no pressure and the reservoir won't go down.
thanks ILS for the info. i tried the method you said this evening when i got home from work. bad news for me is that it didn't work. there was nothing coming out of the bleeder valve. no air, no oil, nada. the reservoir didn't move an inch while i was doing this either. i'm thinking it's a problem with my master cylinder. somehow there is no pressure being built up and moved to the bleeder valve. i'll replace that and let everyone know my findings.
