Clutch Compatability
Ok so my clutch finally decided to go out, completly
ive changed b series clutches before so i know how to it and blah blah blah
i know i shouldent use an autozone clutch but im starting my build in a couple of months and i dont want to drop the money on an expensive clutch, and i have a buddy who works there and he can get one for a steal, and they have one in stock, so its convienent
car is a 92 gsr, with b17 and a 92 ls trans (sucks)
anyway the question is
autozone has the same part # for all 92 clutches (GSR, GS, RS, LS)
i talked to the stealership to confirm this and they said a non gsr 92 clutch will work on my set up, but the flywheel is a different weight, although they couldent give me the weight...
So my question to HT is will it work?
this is my first GSR, so im asking you guys to help confirm this for me
please dont flame, this may be a simple question for some, but its one i dont know the anwser too, and thats what im looking for.

How do you know if the flywheel is a different weight if you don't know the weight?
The only flywheel I know that has a different weight is the ITR's.
And to answer your question about which clutch to use.
All 92-01 Integras clutches are compatable.
The only difference between the cable/hydro kits is the throw-out bearing.
So if you're wanting a complete clutch kit, get one for a 92-93 Integra. (Doesn't matter what trim)
If you're only needing a clutch disc, get a 92+ Integra (any trim)

thanks for the anwser, and btw, i know that because i talked to the guy at the parts counter and a tech at acura, and the counter guy said that the flywheels have different pn's due to the weight, he just couldent tell me how much because that info wasent provided on their system, but dealerships have been wrong before
