Default Chipped ECU vs AFC?

In order to lean out my idle but still provide plenty of fuel for my rest of the powerband I need either a chipped ECU or an AFC...what do you guys suggest and for what reasons?

If you just need to make fuel adjustments a V-AFC, would be a better solution than a ECU. I would only go to a chipped ECU, if I needed to raise the fuel cutoff and or change the ignition timming maps.

From reading the ApexI site on the S-AFC it appears to say that fuel can be adjusted +/- 50% but from 1000+ RPMs.

Does this mean that the idle fuel cant be managed since the car idles at 700 RPMs?

afc unless you want to raise your rev limiter. Plus you can also change your settings as you add mods to your car. You can't with an ecu.
