my check engine light came on for the same thing.....does your idle jump up and down very fast once in a while?.....i dont think it will affect performance cause i just went to the track with my light on and ran a 14.10 with minor bolt on's

why would you run at the track while running the TPS code?

My beater civic's TPS sensor went out not long ago and the car ran like crap. So much so that I didn't even drive it until I fixed it.

Just fix it. Not worth pushing your car when something is messed up. Wasn't hard on my old 88 DPFI civic so i'm sure it couldn't be hard on an integra.

First try resetting your ECU, then try this: http://www.integra.orcon.net.nz/tps

On some cars you have to "dail the tps voltage in". Meaning, adjust the tps until the voltage that it sends when the throttle is closed is at spec.
