Changing Transmission fluid
I have an auto teggy. I need to get my transmission fluid changed. Is it easy to do? is it something i can do myself? Can you all tell me how to do it?
Thanks
Thanks
Not hard. Pull trans dipstick, jack up car. The drain bolt is a black one that you need a square drive for, but you can actually just use a 3/8in drive ratchet. Remove, let fluid drain (after trans is warmed up). Plug it back with a new washer. Refill, the auto tegs (3rd gen) use 2.9 quarts of Honda ATF (dont use anything other than Honda, its reccomended everywhere Ive seen). And then you're good to go.
