CEL codes........

will that jumper work to make the MAINT REQD light tell me whats wrong and are they the same codes??

no. that MAINT REQD light just says you car is due in for regular maintance (oil change) programed to go off every 7500 miles or so. the light that shows the cel codes is the CHECK ENGINE light.
