Default CD Player doesn't work when it is cold

I know this should probably be in the audio/security section but I was wondering if any other people with the stock integra CD Player have problems with playing CDs in the cold? It works fine once inside the car warms up. Until then it just skips or it won't play at all.

Pretty typical for CD players... my nice Denon does it, as does the stock CD player in a Legend.... Actually, so did the stock CD in an S2000.

I guess everyone like being warm!

Probably some moisture formed on the lense which causes the CD player not to play your tunes.

This is very much normal behavior for a CD player. If you look at an owners manual for a home CD player, they'll often say not to use it in sub 50 degree (F) temperatures. That, and a little condensation while warming up is possible.
