if it's a high flow cat...chances are it'll be louder than stock. Are you using stock exhaust diameter or larger? Look into carsound from SMSP or catco.

then it's probably not a quiet motor anyways, so what's the big deal if a high flow makes it a tad louder?

well bizzle, the exhaust is deep and quiet up until 4k sounds great then vtec screams through the intake the rest of the way...i had a cheap hiflo and it was nasty loud raspyness from 1k to 9k- cant have that it sounded like absolute 100% horseshit

was it raspy sounding because it was blown and had resin shaking around in there?

no it was from the hi flo. it was pretty much a test pipe but i just wanna make sure it wont sound like that, anyone knows that a stock cat has no raspy sound at all, i know that a hi flo will change the sound somewhat, but some cats are raspier than others, i just wanna find one that is least raspy as possible

I was disappointed with my carsound. Crapped out after 8 months. Inspecting it yesterday...nothing left inside. Hollowed itself out haha.
