car swerves
ok as the title says my car swerves. My car was fine until i got a flat tire and got a new tire. after it was replaced i noticed that my car swerves and starts at like 65+ mph. i drive a lot on the highway and need this fixed. any help in what else it could be?
Hold the steering wheel tighter???? seriously tho, is it the same brand and size tire as the one you had on there? Also is the tire opposite the one you replace pretty worn out? Either of these two things could be throwing your alignment out of wack. One way or another your car probably needs an alignment.
yes all the tires are equal size and i replaced all four tires. but thanks im going to check that out about the alignment. but it seems as if its on the rear that swerves.
It sounds like the rear is toed out a bit. Take it in for an alignment and you should be fine. Remember the rules of thumb:
1. Toe in up front makes it sluggish.
2. Toe out up front makes it darty.
3. Toe in in the back makes it stable.
4. Toe out in the back makes you crash.
