so today i was driving and got to a red light and stopped...and the car died and wouldn't start back up...i tried starting it but it just crank but doesn't start...i tried push starting it also but it wouldn't start..i checked the timing belt and its fine and the battery is fine....can someone help??? i think it's the distributor but what is wrong with it?

Could be a fuel pump that went out or Ignitor....Did you check the teeth on the timing belt?

 

can you hear the fuel pump pumping..? have u check for spark..? let me know..

 

fuel, spark and compression is what needs to be checked any time a car doesn't want to turn over...Timing is also very imporant.

 

check feul,sparks, and timing already all looking good dont know why it still wouldn't start.. is it the distributor?
