Re: car bra's (DA6righthand)
bras look horrible dont do it man. you could always look into having a portion of your front wrapped in 3mm tape. thats what most exotics cars have and you can't even tell its there. prolly will cost a lot though

i never was a fan of the bra's...but rock chips are owning my bumper. i'd much rather have something protecting the front-end.

Re: car bra's (DA6righthand)
I would have to agree, Bra's do look ugly. But the Clear 3M protective film does look a whole lot better!

I have seen them on Mercedes and Lexus and BMW cars in particular rock chip areas like by the fender wells and on Side view mirrors. They do protect VERY well against chips and bugs, but they do have to be replaced every 2-3 years or so. Esentially they take the damage first before your paint does.

Its kinda like putting plastic on your fancy living room furniture. Yeah it protects it, but its so Ghetto! Also the rest of the car's paint will age while the protected part looks nicer. Kinda like an uneven tan line.

I have a factory one for my '97. I no longer use it because it doesn't fit with my lip. I used it before for road trips. It fit well.

Leather bras look terrible. My dads S2K has the 3m clear bra, and it looks killer. Have a shop apply it, Honda did it for the guy who bought the car before us.
