Default which cam for setup

im having trouble trying to decide which cams to go with for my setup. ctr,skunk2 stg 1 or skunk2 pro 1 cams.or should i look at any other set of cams. i dont mind upgrading valve train if need be.
ok hers my plan of attack for my gsr:

alreday on the car i have:
chipped p28
msd 6al with 8800 rev limit
4-2-1 header
greddy evo2 catback
gutted cat (temporary) going with a thermal hi-flo cat
generic cold air intake
str fuel rail

on my to get list:
aem fuel pres reg
probe i-beam rods
jdm itr pistons
skunk2 intake mani (not Pro)
68 tappered to 65mm bdl t.b
rc 310 injectors
hondata s200
exedy clutch and 7.5lb fly wheel

lookin for good cams that will have a good idle to it. what do you guys suggest

My friend put ctr cams in his ls/vtec and it was pretty fast, it wuz like nite n day differnce besides you can never go wrong wit oem honda parts man hello!!!! im bout to get a pair for my gsr. o ya get a really good header like comptech smp hytech , stay away from that dc sports crap

if you go with an upgraded valve train, then get the skunk2 stage 2's, blox type b's, etc. If you don't upgrade, then get itr/ctr cams.

you don't have to, but for security purposes...it wouldn't hurt

When I dynoed with my skunk2 stg1 cams, the tuner said with the agressive head work I have done the engine wants a more agressive cam. Higher compression NA set ups will be better with a more agressive cam. 11.5:1 compression ratio will work nicely with a set of skunk2 stg2 cams. It all depends what your looking for. If your going to step up to a more agressive cam, then your going to need to upgrade your valve train to handle it. springs/retainers at least.
