cam question

whats up guys, i just bought a 99-01 ls. i took it apart and noticed that the cams have like a bronze colored piece right in the middle of the cam, with two grooves going around it...are these ls cams?? thankz

They have to be LS cams. After market, I dunno. Vtec cams will not fit in an LS head.

do those year ls's have that groove?? i never seen it before, on later models
