I just bought a dc4 for a real good price and it has a cable tranny.... the tranny is blown. and the int. shaft is stucked on the tranny. My question is wat int. shaft do i get a hydrolic one or a cable one.

 

you can use whatever one you want, it just depends on the axles you want to buy. i'm not sure if they're different, but i'd go with the int shaft from the dc so you can still use the stock axles. can you get a pic of the shaft? what part number is on the int shaft?

 

use the one already in there

 

use can either of them the pass side is all the same from 90 up but 90-93 half shafts are diff from 94 up teg stuf. the only diff between the two is one has male input and the other has a female.

if you use a 94 upteg half shaft on a cable tranny you will have to change the driver side axle seal to a 94up teg
