Built LS block for LSVTEC
I tried searching but I found too many vague answers.
I currently have an OBD2 LS. I am considering swapping a VTEC head on to my OEM block. When I do the LSvtec hybrid, since I have an LS oem engine and harness... what wiring do have to do to get the Vtec to work properly? Is it just simply running a OBD2 GSR ECU and connecting the wires from the VTEC solenoid to the ECU harness plugs?
Also do I need to use a GSR Disctributor or can I use my LS distributor. I apologize if I am asking trivial questions, but I am fairly new to Honda hybrids.
Also what honda/acura internals parts can I possibly use to achieve a high compression for all motor setup (11.5 or so) Are there any specific markings or codes to denote certain types of pistons or rods that I could verify I have the correct parts prior to buildup?
Your help and input is always appreciated.
