Default bright headlights

I have a 2000 LS and I am wanting some brighter headlights. I mean really bright, like that ones that come in a lot of the newer cars like BMW's, Lexus, certain SUV's, you know that bright blueish kind. How would I get this? Would I need a HID kit? Is that all it is? My car is horrible at nights when it rains.

Buff your headlights if they are yellow and install some of those Silverstar bulbs. They work wonders.

If you want HID headlights, do it right and retrofit HID projectors into your stock headlights.

Plug and Play HID kits do nothing but attract unnecessary attention from cops and blind everybody else on the road.
