Default brakelight rattle

my middle brakelight is rattling due to a loose/broken screw. twisting the black round thing on the outside doesnt tighten it so the thing just bangs against the rear window while im driving.

that, teamed with the rattling dash, are driving me nuts.

is this a problem on anyone else's car? and are there any easy solutions? im thinking of getting a strip of double-sided tape and just bonding it together that way, but im not sure of its durability.

My dash rattles as well as my passenger window - really annoying.

Just thought I'd share that.

well you said that it was rattling because of a broken screw; maybe i am reading the situation wrong, but why dont you just get another screw?

im not sure how i would even get the thing off. twisting the black round things on the outside dont do anything at all.

umm he has a G3 not a G2.

But I don't get it. The pic you posted shows a car with an LED light on the rear wing, not the light in the rear glass. What do you have?

ah i thought those were connected to the screw as turning those also turns the screws, but does not actually tighten it.

i think im going to go with double sided tape unless there are any other ways. i have no idea how to take the thing off.
