Default blocking front strut bar installation

i want to put in a front strut bar but from what it seems, i have my brake fluid container and some metal under it, so it's like a block to the right of where the left strut bolts are located. after looking at dozens of pictures of other people's strut installs, none of them seem to have anything in the way at all so i don't know whats up with my 2nd gen teg. anyone have an idea? thanks.

ps - i can take a pic of my engine if the situation is confusing

Sounds like you have abs on your car and a strut bar for a gen 2 without abs. They are different

Oh yeah, because ABS gets in the way of a strutbar..

Only thing I can think of, is that you have one of the 3point bars, and it's hitting on your reservoir for the brakes.
So you're pretty much stuck, I think the only thing you can do is get a different bar.
