wassup i got a 96 gsr 4dr. it was sitting during the winter time and i decided to start it up. and it was completely deaddd. so i jump start the car and when i pull the cable out IT DIE.. therefore i brought a new battery. i install it and it turn right on. BUT the battery light is on.. is it due to alternator( for sitting too long) . .

turn my engine on, than turn my headlight= h.i.d start flashing
engine off , headlight on= h.i.d doesnt flash
headlight on= engine wont start
headlight off = engine start.

kinda confuse huh? sorry . but i think it the alternator, i just wanna see what do yours guys think. i just swap my plate so ima be drive it soon.

 

Check the battery voltage with a multimeter with car off. Start car and check voltage while running at 2k rpm, and then check with running at 2k with high beams on. Post what you find.
