Yes I searched... I have a 93 integra gs. I bought the car and the brake pedal is soft and goes all the way to the floor when the car is running. When the car is off the pedal does not go to the floor. Now for facts, It is a race car (road race) that sat for 2 years, I ran it once @ cal-speedway, and this is where I noticed the problem. I already bleed the brakes. It seemed like the master cylinder but I changed it today and it didn't fix anything... When I bleed the brakes the rf and lr had great pressure, and the lf and rr had a little stream, almost no pressure. Does this sound like a bad proportioning vale????
Not sure whatw it can be since you changed master. The new one you got could be bad also. I heard of that before.I don't think its the valve b/c it is a vlave. It does not have moving parts inside.

Update to this horrible problem. Today I replaced the proportioning valve, and still no change. Someone at a shop told me it might be a bad brake booster, so I changed that, and still no change. The car has no ABS, so I've changed everything in the brake hydraulic system and still no change. Does anybody have any ideas???
There are still slave cylinders to complete the system...
Also, when you bled the system, did you make sure all the old fluid is out and replaced with new one?
add... Is the master cylinder the right size for the car? If I remember correctly, when I upgraded my master, the pedal travel was reduced some. So if everything else fails, and it's still a mystery, you can probably upgrade your master cylinder to the next bigger size (like 7/8 to 15/16 or to 1", depending on what comes stock on your car).

did you properly bleed the master cylinder before you put it on or did you just slap it on and then bleed the brakes? try to open each bleeder 1 at a time and gravity bleed it. let me know gl
