B20 vtec ecu??
Hello everyone I am currently doing a b20 vtec build and was wondering if I can get help with the ecu side of things I have a stock internal b20 block with a b18c1 head and skunk 2 intake manifold I recently got a chipped p28 ecu with a type r base map on it will that work. It has a redline of about 8600 and I feel like that’s a little high, but just looking for some help, also how will it run with that ecu. Thanks!

Revving it to 8600 rpm even on a stock GSR the block will go by by real quick..

Send the ECU to a reputable tuner like Pheriable and have them put a custom B20vtec base map. Or try the vault base maps on Hondata if you ever get Hondata installed in the ECU.
