b18b with b20 head
i was wondering if anyone has ever heard of someone doing this. i have heard there are some benefits because the b20 has bigger valves or something just wanted some info on it.
I'm pretty sure that the B20 head and the B18B head are about the same. the differences in the engines is in the block. that's why people are building monster engines with the longer stroke of the b20 block and a type R head. monster motor i tell you!
what if you just drop a b20 longblock into your integ? will it turn out better than before with the b18?

If you use the LS intake and exhaust manifold, then you will basically have a 2.0 LS.
will there be any power gains? is it worth it?

YES, They are the same head(P75), the chambers aren't 84mm they are 81mm(I own both). You buy a gasket to match your bore, not the chamber. Although it is ideal to have the chamber match the bore size. No Bseries has an 84mm chambers stock, all 81mm.
The B20B/Z head is the same as the B18A/B head
The combustion chamber on the B20 heads are 3mm larger. They are NOT the same as the B18A/B heads. Why does one opt to a B20 head vs a stock B18B/A head, because B20 heads are easy and CHEAP to come by.
teg92, How did you confirm that the heads are the same. If you put a B18A/B head gasket up to a B20 head, you can see the size difference.

Please if you don't know what your talking about, zip it up. No need to act like you really know what your talking about then look like a jackass 2 posts later. The bore is 3mm larger, but they did not open up the combustion chamber area in the cylinder head.
