hey guys i had a b17a and i blew the bottom block and its not usuable anyomore cause i craked it. Now i have a chance to get a jdm b16b block and i was wondering since the b16b block is obd2 that if i can use it with my wiring or would i have to upgrade to obd2. And also i was wondering how good a setup that would be, b16b block with a b17 head comp stage 2 cams and a ys1 tranny.

 

just because you are using an obd2 block means that your set up
will become obd2.... ( it needs more sensors than that)

basically just transfer all sensor on your b17a and continue using like
normal and there will be no power difference....
