b16 head question

Default b16 head question

I got a guy selling his b16 head for a good price. I currently have a stock GSR .. My questions is this guys has a turboed b16 I'm trying to go poor mans type R.. Am I gunna have problems trying to get the head to work with my GSR to make it a type r??

there's no point in putting a b16 head on there. you actually lose compression.

Here is what you need...next time, try searching. This took under a minute to find

Thats the gist of it...some people go a little further and get p73 crank, rods, and valvetrain...with those few extra parts, the motor is a itr w/out a ported head.

header and intake doesnt really apply and adding anything p30 to the motor is basically adding b16 parts, not type-r
