DA is kinda heavy for the b16's torque.. ive always heard mixed reviews on them.. i know somebody who had one with a b16 and he pulled it out and put his b18 back.. said the torque loss wasnt worth it with a stock motor..

i would get the b16 on my DA just for the VTEC. IMO it is not worth it to put performance parts on a NON-Vtec Engine. The outcome will still be slow. Also B16 is a great engine for its price. Especially if u get the b16 with lsd.

I absolutely love my B16A. With an S1 transmission my car was Worlds faster than my LS motor ever was. I have raced modded LS's, and I burn them pretty badly. I would recommend getting an OBD-1 B16A (get the JDM version!!!) and converting your car to OBD-1. I would say mod for mod, me vs an LS, I would own. I'm a pretty good driver though. If you get a B16 and use your stock LS tranny, you will regret it. I am currently stuck running an LS YS1 (92-93) tranny. I got it for cheap, but my girl feels slower.

i have a b16 in my DA. driving is so much more fun. i mean sure the b18a was fun with all the torque, but ull love VTEC, it all depends on what ure lookin for, and the driver. i say go VTEC, i think ull enjoy it.
