Default B16 3rd gen Integra

http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/cto/982833621.html

I havent seen a b16 swap 3rd gen. Is the 3rd gen heavier than the 2nd gen? Cuz my db2 could move with its b17. Im thinking of buying this and then swaping a b20 block, but until then, the b16 would remain for a while. Just wondering if a b16 3rd gen will actually move?

my gsr da will run past a b16 or b17 da. im pretty sure that the weight of a da and dc are very similar.

Yeah, you can feel the diff between a first Gen GSR and a second GSR motor for sure. If I could go back in time, I would have never swapped the B18a in my DA for the B16...stock. they were both slow, just should have used the money to build up the B18a...I really wanted a B18c was but couldn't afford it.

I actually have a jdm b16 engine and tranny in my teg at the moment and it's faster than when i had the ls engine and tranny. The shorter gearing makes up for the lack of torque but just barely. Like said above, it will still be slow. I only bought it for the head and so i could have an engine in my car while i rebuild my ls bottom end. I would recommend getting it if you plan on using the head off the b16 on your b20 block.

b16 head+ b20 block+ b16 trans=win. b16 block=suckfest. through my fantastic use of my math background, we can conclude that a b16 is not worth it. my professors would be proud.
